NOTICE

Instances have come to notice when miscreants have fakely generated/ displayed a telephone number of the High Commission of India using illegal electronic means and called Indian/ Mauritian/ other nationals threatening them on consular matters. The call recipient is advised NOT to respond to any such call and immediately report the matter to the High Commission of India, Ebene and Passport & Immigration Office, Govt. of Mauritius. They are also advised to report any such incident to the nearby Police Station.
