PRESS RELEASE - INS SARVEKSHAK (07 FEB 19)

The High Commissioner of India His Excellency Shri Tanmay Lal and Commanding Officer, INS Sarvekshak handed over the ceremonial charts of Le Morne Bay and Rodrigues Island to Right Honourable Sir Anerood Jugnauth, GCSK, KCMG, QC, Minister Mentor, Minister of Defence and Minister for Rodrigues at a ceremonial function held at Port Louis on 07^th February 2019. The function was attended by senior officials of Government of Mauritius and dignitaries. The Commanding Officer presented a brief on ship’s two month deployment and conduct of the Joint Survey and was presented with a “Certificate of Appreciation” for valuable services rendered by the Honourable Minister Mentor. The Minister Mentor and the High Commissioner in their address emphasised on the importance of Joint Surveys.
