Visit of Dr. M. M. Pallam Raju, Hon'ble Minister of Human Resources Development

H.E. Dr. M. M. Pallam Raju, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resources Development is visiting Mauritius from November 19-20, 2013.  Prof. Ved Prakash, Chairman, University Grants Commission (UGC), Prof. R.K. Shevgaonkar, Director, Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),  Delhi and Shri Amit Khare, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development are other prominent members of the delegation of his delegation. During the visit, Hon’ble Minister will hold bilateral discussions with Dr the Hon. Rajeshewar Jeetah, Minister of Tertiary Education, Science, Research and Technology of Mauritius on issues of higher education sector. He is likely to call on the H.E. Dr. the Hon. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Prime Minister and H.E. the Hon. Vasant Kumar Bunwaree, Minister of Education and Human Resources. An MOU on establishment of International Institute of Technology Research Academy(IITRA) in Mauritius is also on the agenda, which is likely to be signed between IIT Delhi and Mauritius Research Council.
