A cultural fashion show titled "Fabrics of Friendship- an Indo Mauritius Fashion Utsav” was held in IGCIC on 29th July with the joint collaboration of Indian High Commission Women’s Association (IHCWA) & Indo Maurice Saree Speak (IMSS).

The event was graced by VPM Mrs. Leela Devi Luchoomun Dookhun, Foreign Minister Mr. Alan Ganoo, High Commissioner Mrs. K. Nandini Singla and various other dignitaries.

The event showcased traditional costumes (IMSS), bridal attire (IHCWA) and dances of different states of India.

Miss Universe Mauritius 2022, Alexandrine Belle Étoile, was invited as a special guest to encourage the participants.
