The Government of India has launched a special initiative in the form of Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz (Know India Quiz) to generate interest among youth, both NRI as well as PIO, to know and understand India.

2. This Quiz being organized in 4 Rounds, will be open for overseas Indian youth between age group of 15-35 years. There will be separate categories for NRIs and PIOs. The first round of the Quiz will be conducted by the Mission preferably online at the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in, and the second, third and fourth rounds will be conducted by Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi. The top three contenders/participants of the 1^st round of online/onsite Quiz from each category of NRI and PIO will qualify for the second round. All participants who make it to the third and fourth round will be invited to India and besides the quiz; they would participate in 15 day tour of India. The top three winners of the final round will be honoured and receive special awards at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2019.

3. As an initial exercise, all participants have to complete mandatory online registration at portal www.bharatkojaniye.in in order to participate in the online/offline Quiz to be conducted by the Mission (first round). Participant is required to generate a unique user name and password by registering online at the portal. Detailed Guidelines are available on the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in. 4. All NRI/PIOs in Mauritius in the age group 18-35 are invited to register their participation through online registration at https://www.bharatkojaniye.in/. Participant is required to generate a unique user name and password by registering online at the portal. Following fields need to be submitted for registration:

  (i) First Name

  (ii) Last Name

  (iii) Date of Birth

  (iv) City / country of residence

  (v) Email id

  (vi) Mobile number for WhatsApp

  (vii) NRI/ PIO Card / OCI Card / Passport details or proof of Indian origin
