Terms and Conditions for “10 famous embroideries of India” Quiz on Facebook Page of the High Commission of India in Mauritius

1. The quiz on “10 famous embroideries of India” is open to residents of the Republic of Mauritius and Indians residing in Mauritius aged 18 years and above, except employees of the High Commission of India and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.

2. Entry to the quiz is free of charge and no purchase is necessary.

3. By entering this quiz, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. The quiz will run on Facebook from 29^th February 2024 to 11^th March 2024, inclusive. Any entries received after this time will not be considered.

5. The rules of the quiz and how to enter are as follows:

1. The quiz will consist of 10 questions about the 10 famous embroideries of India.
2. Entrants must answer all questions in the quiz correctly to be eligible for the prize.
3. To enter, participants must complete the quiz and submit their answers along with their name and phone number in the submission form provided.

6. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

7. The High Commission of India in Mauritius reserves the right to disqualify any entry if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

8. The 1 winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries received and will be announced on Facebook within 7 days of the quiz closing date.

9. The prize is as follows:

1. The winner will receive a gift.
2. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

10. The High Commission of India in Mauritius is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Quiz.

11. The winner will be notified via Facebook message or phone number provided within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the High Commission of India in Mauritius reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

12. The High Commission of India in Mauritius will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected or delivered.

13. The quiz and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Republic of Mauritius, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Mauritius.

14. The High Commission of India in Mauritius reserves the right to cancel or amend the quiz and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the quiz will be communicated as soon as possible.

15. By entering the quiz, participants are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

16. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Mauritius data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.

17. The High Commission of India's in Mauritius decision in respect of all matters to do with the quiz will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
