In 2013, calamity struck Kedarnath area in Uttarakhand resulting in large scale destruction of property, infrastructure, including holy shrine of Kedarnath, and massive loss of human life. The State Government of Uttarakhand, under the directions of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, has endeavoured to restore the shrine and the surrounding area to its pristine glory and provide devotees with all modern amenities and services. It has now constituted ‘Shri Kedarnath Charitable Trust’ to seek funds for Shri Kedarnath Dham reconstruction works.
