KIND ATTENTION PIO CARD HOLDERS 

The last date for submission of applications for registration as Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder in lieu of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card has been extended to December 31, 2017.  All concerned are requested to submit duly filled application form with copy of passport and PIO card at HCI, Port Louis on or before December 31, 2017. Online application for issue of OCI card in lieu of Valid or lost PIO card (as the case may be) may be filled on our website https://passport.gov.in/oci/ and submitted at HCI, Port Louis. 

PIO cards are being converted to OCI cards on gratis basis. There will be no additional scrutiny. Only photocopy of valid passport, photocopy of PIO card and two photographs (50 mm x 50 mm) along with copy of OCI application form is required.
