World Hindi Conference 2018 – Launch of Website

 On 10th April 2018 the Logo and Website of the 11th World Hindi Conference (WHC) was launched at the Ministry of External Affairs, Jawaharlal Nehru Bhavan, New Delhi, jointly by Smt. Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister of India and Hon. Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, Minister of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research of Mauritius.

The 11th World Hindi Conference will be held in Mauritius from 18th - 20th of August 2018. The online registration process for the 11th World Hindi Conference also started with the launch of the website. The website may be accessed on the following link/ web address: http://www.vishwahindisammelan.gov.in

The main theme for the conference is “Vaishvik Hindi aur Bhartiya Sanskriti” with 12 parallel sessions running on various sub-themes. There will also be an exhibition of books of Hindi and other Indian languages and launching of books by renowned Hindi Authors. 

The WHC is expected to witness a large gathering of about 1500 registered attendees from various countries, where Hindi is learnt, in addition to Hindi lovers from all around the world. 

Interested participants may obtain local information such as: flights, hotels, VISA, medical, traffic on the website given above. The registration fee of the conference is INR 5000/- or US$ 100, which is inclusive of meals (lunch, dinner, tea) served during the conference and local transport (hotel to main venue of the conference). 

All Hindi lovers are encouraged to register on the website on or before 15th July 2018.
