Ayurveda Day 2022 was organized by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, High Commission of India in collaboration with the Association of Ayurvedic physicians at Belvedere, Mauritius on 19^th October 2022. Eminent personalities including the Hon. Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Kailesh Jagutpal, , Hon Minister Mr. M. Gobin, Hon.  Minister D. Balgobin, Hon. Minister Mr. S. Maudhoo, Hon. Mr. V. Nuckchedy, Ayurvedic Physicians, Acting High Commissioner Sh. Vimarsh Aryan from High Commission of India and others graced the event. The event included the inauguration of a Dhanvantri Ayurvedic Garden and plantation of a Giloye plant. The Secretary of Ministry of Ayush, Government of India also virtually participated and delivered a video message during the event. Acting High Commissioner highlighted the need of Ayurveda and emphasized on the shared responsibility of taking Ayurveda to the world community. The Hon'ble Minister thanked the Government of India in setting up of the AYUSH Centre of Excellence in Mauritius in collaboration with the Government of Mauritius.
