The programme Golden Melodies of Bollywood was organized by Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, High Commission of India at IGCIC on 17^th September 2022 in the series of Aazadi Amrit Mahotsav by presenting Classic songs of Bollywood in the revered memory of the legendary singers such as Manna Dey, Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosley, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi etc. which were presented by IGCIC Teachers and Mauritian Artists. The program was graced with the presence of His Excellency the former Vice President of Republic of Mauritius Mr. Barlen Vyapoory and His Excellency the former Vice President of Republic of Mauritius Mr. Raouf Bundhun and other important dignitaries. The program was well documented by Mauritius Film Development Corporation, broadcasted live on the official Facebook page of IGCIC and was later telecasted by the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation in a series of three programmes.
