The crew of Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini at the High Commission of India prior to undertaking the maiden solo circumnavigation of the globe by an Indian Navy Woman Officer.

The crew of Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini were hosted by the High Commission of India prior to undertaking the maiden solo circumnavigation of the globe by an Indian Navy Woman Officer. Six crew members, including three female officers, participated in the expedition of a sailing voyage from Goa to Port Louis, Mauritius aboard the INSV Tarini on 20th August 2022. The High Commissioner of India to Mauritius wished the courageous crew “Fair Winds and Following Seas” for this pioneering initiative that is a matter of great pride for all Indians.
