Clarifications

Response of the queries raised by the bidders

Query No.1

Please confirm whether the Registered Professional Engineer for this contract should be either Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer as page 76 Section C.3.2 or both Engineer as per Schedule no 1 – Preliminaries and General Items Ref F & G.

Response

Kindly submit your quotation as specified in the Preliminaries and General Items of Schedule No.1 at item F and G at page 2.01.

Query No.2

The Technical Officer-Cum-Supervisor is not included in the schedule of work – Schedule No 1 but as per page 77 Section C.3.3 it is mentioned that a Technical Officer-Cum-Supervisor is required for this tender. Please advise accordingly.

Response

No Technical Officer and Supervisor are required.

Query No.3

Please confirm whether the maintenance of the kitchen equipment is excluded from the tender.

Response

The maintenance of the kitchen equipment does not form part of this contract.

Query No.4

Please describe the scheme of duties of the liftmen for this tender as it is not advisable to have liftman for these kinds of building.

Response

Liftman shall be always in attendance and will not operate the lift.

The liftman shall be responsible to provide immediate assistance should passengers are blocked in the lift or any associated events.

Query No.5

Please confirm whether the office facilities for both the secretary and the Technical Officer will be provided by the client of the maintenance contractor.

Response

Workstation, chairs and terminals have been provided in the residential office for maintenance service.

Bidder must allow in their quote all requisite equipment and facilities for performing their assignment in conformity with the tender documents.

Query No.6

Please circulate the full equipment list or the asset register as it is very important for the offer.

Response

List of full equipment has already been issued vide Addendum No.1.
